The Public Procurement Authority has published an important announcement on querying tenderers' tax debts

Under the Implementation Regulation on the Electronic Conduct of Public Procurement, which entered into force on 1 August 2025, in tenders advertised or announced on or after 1 August 2025 social security premium and tax debt queries are to be carried out by contracting authorities at the stage when bids are opened.
