Assessment of the Explanation Given in an Abnormally Low Tender Inquiry
The process by which the explanations obtained from tenderers in respect of tenders found abnormally low are examined by the tender commission for compliance with the legislation, accuracy and adequacy, as regards the cost components making up the tender price and the documents submitted. Following that assessment, the commission either finds the explanations adequate and treats the tender as valid, or finds them contrary to the legislation and inadequate and rejects the tender.
