Central Procurement

Central procurement means the procurement of the common requirements of more than one administration from a single source. It covers the supply from a single source, or by designated units, of the goods and services requested by the public administrations listed in schedules (I), (II) and (III) annexed to the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018, which make up the central government budget. Examples include principal materials, systems, materials that must be held in stock, and foodstuffs.
