Design Competitions

Design competitions are competitions of a special character organised by contracting authorities within the scope of Public Procurement Law No. 4734, open to multiple participation and based on the assessment of a jury, in order to obtain an idea, design, project, plan or work in the field of architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, urban design, city and regional planning or works of fine art. Their purpose is to lay down the procedures and principles governing the obtaining by contracting authorities of a plan or design project, under Articles 23 and 53 of Law No. 4734.
