EKAP Signature Authority (Contracting Authority)

The authorised public official who approves with a secure electronic signature the tender and contract procedures carried out on the Electronic Public Procurement Platform on behalf of a public administration, and who assigns user authorisations on the platform. That person is responsible for acting on EKAP on behalf of the authority and for ensuring the legal validity of the procedures on the platform. Tender officers, tender commission members and other responsible users who will act on EKAP on behalf of the authority are defined in the system by the signature authority.
