Inconsistency with the Ordinary Course of Events

In public procurement and contracts, inconsistency with the ordinary course of events denotes irregularities and departures from general practice, such as the relationship between tender prices, unusual features in the estimated cost, an abnormally low tender explanation being inexplicable by reference to market prices, discrepancies between the work programme and the delivery period, and the occurrence of prohibited acts or conduct. Several tenderers submitting the same price in one tender, or similarities in signatures and handwriting on documents, are examples.
