Insurance of the Work and the Site (Works)

In works, the insurance of the work and the site denotes the contractor's obligation to insure, against the risks specified in the contract, the manufacture carried out at the site during the performance of the contract, the machinery and equipment used, the structural elements and loss that may be caused to third parties. Under that obligation the contractor must cover by insurance loss that may occur during the construction of the work, risks relating to the structure, materials and equipment at the site, and loss that may be caused to third parties.
