Internet Protocol Address

The name given to the distinct numbers used by devices connected to the internet in order to communicate with one another. Every device connected to the internet must have an IP address. Devices connected to the internet or to a computer network have addresses and identity numbers that they use to send data to one another over the network. It is not possible for more than one device to have the same IP address. In public tenders, the use of the same IP address by candidates and tenderers when downloading tender documents or submitting electronic tenders is assessed under Law No. 4734.
