Laboratory Inspection Report

The document in which it is determined, as a result of the laboratory analysis carried out, whether the sample conforms to the tender documents. Laboratory inspections are carried out in the contracting authority's own laboratories where available, otherwise in laboratories belonging to other public institutions and, failing that, in private laboratories. The tender documents must specify by whom and by what method laboratory inspections are to be carried out, who is to bear the costs, and which result will be accepted.
