Minor Defect

Minor deviations from the production standards that do not prevent the product subject to the contract from fulfilling its purpose of manufacture, do not limit its use and do not affect its form, function or compatibility. Where contracting authorities specify such defects in the technical specifications, minor defects found during the inspection and acceptance procedures and exceeding the standard require the goods to be rejected.
