Negotiated Procedure

One of the tender procedures laid down in Law No. 4734. For it to be applied, the conditions set out in Article 21 of the Law must arise. It may be applied where no tender is received in a tender held under the open or restricted procedure; in sudden and unexpected situations such as natural disasters, epidemics or danger to life or property; where the work has particular characteristics in terms of construction technique; or where the authority determines that it must be carried out urgently to ensure the safety of the structure or of life and property.
