Negotiated Procedure (State Procurement Law No. 2886)
The negotiated procedure is one of the procedures for tenders that generate revenue for the public purse, such as sales, leases and easements. In tenders held under this procedure, the taking of tenders is not subject to any particular form. Tenders are held by the commission taking written or oral tenders from one or more tenderers, according to the nature and requirements of the work, and agreeing on a price. The manner in which the negotiation was conducted, the tenders made and the reasons for preferring the successful tenderer are stated in the negotiation decision.
