Preliminary Examination Record (Works)
In works, the preliminary examination record is the record drawn up as a result of the preliminary examination, showing the circumstances preventing acceptance, the period required to remedy them and the subsequent steps of the acceptance process. In practice this record, prepared by the construction supervision officers, must clearly state the total period required for the defective works to be remedied. Those determinations are significant for service, the calculation of the new completion date and the establishment of delays.
