Public Procurement

Public procurement is the purchase by public institutions and organisations, such as general and special budget administrations, municipalities, revolving fund organisations and public economic enterprises, of the goods, services and works they require in order to carry out their principal duties, by the procedures and methods laid down in the legislation. Those procedures and methods are laid down in Public Procurement Law No. 4734, Public Procurement Contracts Law No. 4735, Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018 and their secondary legislation.
