Pupil Requiring Special Education Within the Scope of Access to Education Through Transport

A pupil requiring special education within the scope of that service is a pupil who differs significantly from peers in individual and developmental characteristics and educational capacity, and who therefore requires additional measures such as special education, support education, an adapted educational environment, guidance, accessible transport or an accompanying person in order actually to benefit from the right to education. Such a pupil affects the scope of a pupil transport service tender, the characteristics of the vehicles and the guidance personnel.
