Reference Sample for the Procurement

The sealed sample retained and preserved in order to establish the characteristics of the goods to be purchased that are referred to solely by reference to it in the technical specifications. It forms an annex to the contract and one copy is given to the contractor with whom the contract is signed. The contractor must carry out production or supply on the basis of that sample and deliver goods conforming to the same characteristics.
