Responsibility for Transporting Goods or Materials

In goods procurements the contractor is responsible for the assembly, packaging, loading, transport, delivery, unloading, storage and protection of all the goods and materials required for the work. It is responsible for any damage that may occur during the transport of the materials. The contractor takes the necessary care to ensure that roads and bridges are not damaged by its personnel during transport, and suitable vehicles and roads must be used. Where necessary, permission must be obtained from the competent authorities for the use of roads.
