The sealed tender procedure is the tender procedure carried out under State Procurement Law No. 2886 in which tenders are submitted confidentially. Among the tender procedures laid down in that Law it is the principal procedure, because it ensures that tenders are submitted confidentially, under Article 36 of Law No. 2886.
