Spare Part (Original Equivalent Spare Part)
In public procurement, an original equivalent spare part is a spare part produced by a firm that manufactures spare parts for the manufacturer of the principal material, vehicle, machinery or system, under its own trade name and part number, having the same technological, physical and functional characteristics as the original spare part and also used in production by the manufacturer of the principal material. This concept is a special technical category between the original part and the equivalent part.
