Specialist Member

A member of staff who is trained, qualified and certified in a branch of science or a profession, who possesses knowledge and skill in the field, and who works with data obtained by scientific methods. Inspection commissions include as many specialist members as the relevant regulations require. In goods procurements at least one member, and in service and works procurements all members of the commission, must be specialist members.
