Supervision, Inspection and Acceptance Procedures in Goods Procurement
The body of administrative procedures by which the goods delivered by the contractor under a public procurement contract are examined and assessed by the inspection and acceptance commission formed by the contracting authority as to whether they conform to the tender documents, the technical specifications and the terms of the contract, and, where found to conform, are taken into delivery. The commission consists of at least three members, an odd number, at least one of whom must be a technical member specialised in the work.
