Tender Tailored to a Particular Firm

A type of tender in which competition is in practice eliminated because the technical specifications or the conditions of the tender have been prepared so as to place a particular firm at an advantage. Such conduct constitutes an offence, and the officials responsible must be punished under the Turkish Criminal Code.
